An inner nuclear membrane protein links nuclear shape and plant stress responses

SUN proteins reside on the inner membrane of the plant cell nucleus and help regulate nuclear shape and position, as well as how genes are switched on and off during development and stress. Although SUN proteins have been linked to interactions with both beneficial and pathogenic microbes, their role in plant immune responses remains unclear. 

Fourth Convocation of RCB

The 4th Convocation Ceremony of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) was held in a dignified and celebratory atmosphere. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting, followed by the formal conferment of degrees in the presence of esteemed dignitaries and faculty. The ceremony celebrated academic excellence and marked a proud milestone for the graduating students.
