Fellowship
The students admitted to the programme will have to avail the fellowship for which they have qualified as per the rules of the funding agency. RCB will have no financial liability regarding the same.
The following fees are payable at the beginning of each semester:

Caution money (Rs. 5000; refundable) is payable at the time of admission. Hostel Security Deposit of Rs. 5000 (if applicable).
PhD thesis examination fee (Rs. 10,000) is payable at the time of PhD thesis submission. Hostel electricity charges are as per the installed meter, and the cooperative mess charges are to be paid as per actual.
The fee may be revised during the course as per the provisions in the RCB Ordinance.
Financial Assistance-
The Pradhan Mantri Vidyalaxmi (PM-Vidyalaxmi) Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme approved by the Union Cabinet in 2024, aimed at ensuring that meritorious students, regardless of their financial background, can pursue quality higher education. Implemented by the Department of Higher Education with Canara Bank as the nodal agency.
This scheme provides collateral-free and guarantor-free education loans to students securing admission in top-ranked Quality Higher Educational Institutions (QHEIs).The scheme serves as removing the financial barrier to education for meritorious youth who do not qualify for other government scholarship programs.
Students can avail loans to cover the entire cost of tuition, hostel fees, and associated expenses without providing collateral or a guarantor, for students with up to Rs. 8 lakhs annual family income.
